The Boys & Girls Club Family Center has deep roots in the City of Springfield. For more than 100 years, the Club has offered a safe haven and support for families and children.
The Club has evolved over the years to be responsive to the changing needs of the community. The mission of the Club – to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens – continue to guide our efforts.
The Boys & Girls Club Family Center is governed by a Board of Directors, which is led by Board President Tonya Ward, while day to day operations and management are led by Executive Director Keshawn Dodds.
The Boys & Girls Clubs Family Center is part of a national network of affiliated Clubs. The national organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, began in 1860.
